The 75 Best Companies to Work for in Texas

In today’s competitive business environment, it is a distinction to be named one of the 75 Best Companies to Work for in Texas. This program was designed to recognize the best employers in the state, the ones who make it a priority to create better workplaces for their employees. Best Companies Group and its partners, the Texas Association of Business and the Texas State Council of the Society for Human Resource Management, have broken ground in Texas with this program.

How the 75 Best Companies Were Selected

Best Companies Group, an independent organization managing this program, launched its survey in Texas in the summer of 2007. Companies that chose to participate completed a two-part survey, including an organizational overview of the company’s policies and procedures as well as an in-depth employee questionnaire. The survey, analysis, and list selection were conducted by Best Companies Group and ModernThink LLC, a research and consulting firm specializing in workplace excellence. Participation was available to for-profit and nonprofit companies with 25 or more employees working in Texas.
