As the mercury rises, so do the hemlines, and we’re in the mood for drapey but flattering dresses. This month we’re tuned into frocks by Dream Society, known for its flouncy, never-tight-in-the-wrong-places clothing. A few of the chic yet easy-to-wear designs we’re pining away for are its sexy orchid-hued one-piece swimsuit and the above-the-knee, deep V-neck dress—so simple, so very I-don’t-have-to-try-too-hard.

Along with those simple silhouettes, a few options from Jimmy Choo’s spring collection have caught our eye. For the glamorous bohemian types—think caftan-wearing American girl in Marrakech—we adore the studded and bejeweled Aspen flat sandal and the very classic Warp moccasin. If flats leave you flat, go all out with the tricked-up Isto, with its gorgeous green Icelandic salmon skin and 130-millimeter heel.

Alexandra Knight’s custom cowboy collection Shiseido has sent over Shiseido Body Creator, a delicious-smelling cream that reportedly shrinks your backside, torso, or any body part to which it is applied. Shiseido reps tell me that the secret to its body-sculpting properties has to do with the cream’s SLM, or Spicy Lemony Mixture (I’m not making this up, folks), whose scent stimulates the fat-burning process. I’m applying it this month and will let you know if you should run out and buy when it hits counters in April. Keep your fingers crossed. Maybe I won’t have to wear a one-piece after all.

The much-anticipated Houston Premium Outlets open March 27. Seventy-five acres of shopping heaven will house the likes of True Religion, Juicy Couture, Kate Spade, Michael Kors, Waterford Wedgwood, and Adidas. The center is located in Cypress, right off Highway 290.
